Freeman Goes for Gone
Morgan Freeman is in final negotiations to star in Ben Affleck's feature directorial debut Gone, Baby, Gone for Miramax Films. The story is about two private investigators who search for a kidnapped young girl in the seedier area of Boston. Freeman was last seen in Lucky Number Slevin.

Veteran actor Ed Harris will join the cast of Ben Affleck's Gone, Baby Gone. Other actors slated to star in the film are Ben's brother Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan.

Affleck is Gone, Baby, Gone
Ben Affleck will make his directorial debut as he helms his own adaptation of the Dennis Lehane (Mystic River) novel Gone, Baby, Gone for Touchstone Pictures. The project centers on a pair of Boston-area detectives who are hired to search for a missing four-year-old girl. Affleck is not expected to have an acting role in the film.
