Douglas is a dad in Dupree
Michael Douglas has joined the cast of You, Me and Dupree, the Universal Pictures comedy that is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Douglas will star alongside Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson and Matt Dillon in the tale about a newlywed couple that agrees to let the groom's best man stay with them after the wedding - a move they quickly come to regret. Douglas will play the bride's father, a controlling sort of guy.

Dillon completes trio
Matt Dillon is the third piece of the puzzle in the movie You, Me and Dupree, joining Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson in the cast. The comedy centers on a newlywed couple (Hudson, Dillon), whose relationship troubles bubble over when the groom's unemployed best man, Dupree (Wilson), moves in with them for what is supposed to be a brief period. Trouble is, he doesn't seem to have much intention of leaving. Joe and Anthony Russo are directing from a screenplay by Mike LeSieur.

Owen Wilson joins Me, You and Dupree
Owen Wilson has set up a deal to star in and produce Me, You and Dupree for Universal Pictures. The screenplay was written by Michael Lesieur and tells the story of a troubled married couple whose problems are only intensified when the groom's best man moves in with them and begins competing with him.
