Dawson gets in Killshot
Rosario Dawson has joined the cast of Killshot, the movie adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel. She will join Diane Lane, Thomas Jane and Mickey Rourke in the story about a couple who flee a witness protection program with a gangster hot on their heels. Along with Dawson, Johnny Knoxville and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are also in final talks to star as well.

Cast set for Killshot
The WeinsteinCo. has set Diane Lane, Thomas Jane and Mickey Rourke to star in their adaptation of Elmore Leonard's Killshot. The movie centers on a real estate agent (Lane) and her husband (Jane) as they attempt an extortion scheme that ultimately lands them in a Witness Protection Program. Meanwhile, a pair of hit men are on their trail. Rourke would apparently play one of the wetworks specialists.

Madden gets in a Killshot
John Madden (Shakespeare in Love) has signed to direct the Miramax Films adaptation of Elmore Leonard's novel Killshot. The novel centers on a woman and her blue-collar husband who mistakenly stumble on an extortion plot. As a result, they're targeted for murder to keep them quiet.
