Sutherland is The Sentinel
Kiefer Sutherland is set to topline The Sentinel, a suspense film based on a novel by Gerald Petrievich, a former Secret Service agent. Clark Johnson will direct the film from a script by George Nolfi (Ocean’s Twelve). Sutherland will play a Secret Service agent who is having a clandestine affair with the first lady of the U.S. When another agent is suddenly murdered, Sutherland’s character is a suspect and is also enmeshed in what may be a plot to have the president assassinated.
