Goldwyn says yes to Lila
Samuel Goldwyn Films has picked up distribution rights to Lebanese-born helmer Ziad Doueiri's Lila Says. The French-language film is set in Marseilles and looks at the sexually-charged flirtation between two teens when a beautiful blonde girl moves into a predominantly Arabic neighborhood. The French, British and Italian co-production stars Vahina Giacante, Mohammed Khouas and Karim Benhadou. Goldwyn is looking toward a summer release.
