Bonham Carter to Fight Potter
Helena Bonham Carter (Fight Club) will play one of the evildoers in the fifth part of the Harry Potter saga, Order of the Phoenix. She will take the role of Bellatrix Lestrange from author J.K. Rowling's mega-selling book franchise.

Staunton joins Potter cast
Imelda Staunton and Evanna Lynch, a 14-year-old newcomer, will join the cast of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. David Yates is directing from a screenplay by Michael Goldenberg. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will all reprise their roles in the film. Lynch will play the role of Luna Lovegood. Additional new cast members include George Harris, Helen McCrory, Natalia Tena and Kathryn Hunter.

WB goes with surprise for Potter 5 director
Warner Bros. has hired British director David Yates to helm the fifth film in the Harry Potter series. Although the director has only one film credit (The Tichborne Claimant), the studio became interested in Yates due to his television work, including the prize-winning dramas The Way We Live Now and State of Play. Production should start in late 2005 for the film's planned release in summer of 2007.

Goldenberg replaces Kloves for Potter 5
Michael Goldenberg, who previously wrote the screenplay for the fantastical Peter Pan, will replace Steve Kloves as scripter for the fifth installment in the Harry Potter series. Though Kloves had written all of the previous screenplays for the Potter films, he has taken on another project that he will both write and direct - the adaptation of Mark Haddon's bestselling novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
