Ward and Tyler to Star in The Strangers
Model Gemma Ward will have her feature film debut in The Strangers, starring opposite Liv Tyler. The film, from writer-director Bryan Bertino, is about a couple in a remote house in the suburbs who are under attack by three masked strangers. Tyler will play half of the couple, while Ward will play one of the strangers.

Bertino to Also Direct the Strangers
Focus Features' sidearm Rogue Pictures has decided to hire writer Bryan Bertino to direct his own script for Strangers. The film, about three strangers who terrorize a couple in a remote house upon returing from their wedding, will mark Bertino's directorial debut. The project was originally under the auspices of parent company Universal.

Universal is no Stranger to script
Universal Pictures has acquired the Bryan Bertino spec script The
Strangers. It tells the story of three strangers who terrorize a
