Walsh joins Il Mare
Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck) is set to join the cast of Il Mare for Warner Bros. He'll star alongside Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. The remainder of the cast includes Shohreh Aghdashloo, Ebon-Moss Bachrach, Willeke van Ammelrooy and Christopher Plummer. Alejandro Agresti is directing from a screenplay by David Auburn.

Plummer is onboard Il Mare
Christopher Plummer has signed on for the cast of Warner Bros. Il Mare, to be directed by Argentinian Alejandro Agresti. Plummer will play the father of Keanu Reeves' character, which also co-stars Sandra Bullock. The film is a remake of a Korean film and is a romantic comedy about a lonely doctor (Bullock) and frustrated architect who live in the same house - but two years apart. They fall in love through letters that they exchange through a mysterious mailbox. David Auburn wrote the screenplay.

Reeves, Bullock re-team for Il Mare
Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, who previously starred together in Speed, have signed for the lead roles in Il Mare, a romantic drama to be directed by Argentina's Alejandro Agresti. The screenplay from David Auburn is based on the Korean film of the same name, and centers on a lonely doctor and an architect who live in the same house, but not at the same time. They fall in love via letters they exchange that bridges time.

Argentinian director aboard Il Mare
Argentinian director Alejandro Agresti (Valentin) has signed on to helm the English-language adaptation of the Korean film Il Mare for Warner Bros. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn (Proof) will adapt the screenplay. The romance centers on a female doctor and a male architecture school dropout who live in the same house at different points in time. They somehow fall in love via letters that manage to bridge time.
