Fox Searchlight has Trust
Fox Searchlight has acquired the rights to Trust the Man at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Bart Freundlich romantic comedy is said to have cost the distributor $8 million. It centers on a group of modern-day New Yorkers who must face various challenges involving love and marriage. Julianne Moore, David Duchovny, Billy Crudup, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Eva Mendes and Ellen Barkin are all included in the cast. The distributor is planning to release the film in 2006.

Crudup and Gyllenhaal Trust the Man
Maggie Gyllenhaal and Billy Crudup have joined the cast of the Julianne Moore/David Duchovny romantic comedy Trust the Man. Bart Freundlich is directing. Production will begin on Monday.
