Bridges in talks for gymnastics film
Jeff Bridges is in negotiations with the Walt Disney Company to join their gymnastics film Stick It. He would play a gymnastics coach to Missy Peregrym of Life as We Know It. Her rival will be portrayed by Vanessa Lengies. Jessica Bendinger (Bring It On) wrote the screenplay and will make her directorial debut with the film.

Cast signs for Stick It
Missy Peregrym (Life As We Know It) and Vanessa Lengies (American Dreams) have signed to star in the Walt Disney gymnastics film Stick It. Jessica Bendinger, who wrote the screenplay for Bring It On, both wrote the script and will be making her directorial debut with the film. The story centers on a rebellious girl who finds herself on the wrong side of the law one too many times. She's forced to enter the strictly regimental world of gymnastics so that she can clean up her act.

Disney gets gymnastics flick
Disney has signed Jessica Bendinger to make her directorial debut with Stick It, which will be based on the spec script she penned. The movie will center around a rebellious girl who takes her renegade tendencies into the ranks of her fellow gymnasts, normally known for being strict rules followers. Bendinger has also written First Daughter and The Truth About Charlie.
