Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) is in negotiations to direct Columbia Pictures' The International. Based on a screenplay by Eric Singer, the film centers on an obsessive Interpol investigator who is pursuing a powerful banker involved with money laundering, terrorism, drugs and weapons brokering.
