Duvall joins Lucky You
Robert Duvall will join the cast of Warner Bros.' Lucky You, where he'll play Eric Bana's father and poker opponent. The movie is being directed by Curtis Hanson from a screenplay he co-wrote with Eric Roth. The movie centers on a professional poker player (Bana) who receives life lessons from a struggling singer (Drew Barrymore) even as he meets head-to-head with his estranged father (Duvall) at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The movie is scheduled for a December release.

Messing is Lucky
Debra Messing will star alongside Eric Bana and Drew Barrymore in the Curtis Hanson poker film Lucky You. Warner Bros. is targeting the film for a December release. The movie will center on Huck Cheever (Bana), a gifted poker player who is attempting to conquer his own demons as he tries to win a world poker championship in Las Vegas. The screenplay was written by Eric Roth and has additional clean-up writing from Hanson.

Bana is Lucky
Eric Bana is set to star as Huck Cheever in Warner Bros' Lucky You, to be directed by Curtis Hanson. The film is set in the world of high-stakes poker and based on an original screenplay by Eric Roth. Hanson did some additional writing as well.
