Knoxville is Daltry Calhoun
Johnny Knoxville is in final talks to star in the Miramax film Daltry Calhoun, which is set to go into production later this month. He'd join a cast that already includes Juliette Lewis, Elizabeth Banks, David Koechner and Kick Gurry. The film was written by Katrina Holden Bronson, who will also be making her directorial debut. The film is set in Knoxville's hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee and is a dark comedy about a father (Knoxville) who struggles to keep his once lucrative golf empire intact when his 14-year-old daughter, a gifted musician, is suddenly left in his care after having been estranged from him for some time. Quentin Tarantino's L. Driver Productions is co-producing along with Miramax.
