ThinkFilm acquires Sundance docu winner
ThinkFilm has picked up North American rights to Born Into Brothels, which won the audience documentary award at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Ross Kauffman and Zana Briski, the film looks at children who grow up around prostitution in the dank streets of Calcutta, India. The movie will be released in New York on December 8th and should expand into additional theaters in early 2005.
