Fragile gets distribution
Bauer Martinez Distribution has acquired North American distribution rights to Fragile, a movie that stars Calista Flockhart and opened earlier this month in Spain. Jaume Balaguero directed the film, which centers on an American nurse who works at a British children's hospital. The place is haunted by a former patient who attempts to keep current ones from leaving the hospital alive.

Flockhart returns
Calista Flockhart has signed on for her first major film since Ally McBeal ended its television run. She'll star as a nurse in the independent feature Fragile. Her character takes a new job at a desolate children's hospital as it is in the process of closing down. She tries to keep the kids safe even as she must discover what is behind some mysterious attacks that keep the children from leaving the premises. Along with Flockhart, other stars are Richard Roxburgh, Yasmin Murphy and Gemma Jones. Jaume Balaguero is directing the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jordi Galceran.
