Cast signs up for Blood and Chocolate
Olivier Martinez and Agnes Bruckner have signed up to star in Ehren Kruger's adaptation of the Annette Curtis Klause novel Blood and Chocolate. German helmer Katja von Garnier will direct the werewolf film, which tells the story about a teenager who has spent the majority of her life trying to hide the fact that she is a lycanthrope. She must choose between her relationship with a human and her love for her family after a relationship with a visiting American looks as though it will bring her secret out into the open.

Blood and Chocolate takes off for MGM
Katja Von Garnier is in negotiations to direct the horror-thriller Blood and Chocolate for MGM. Ehren Kruger is adapting Annette Curtis Klause's young-adult novel. It is set in Eastern Europe and centers on a teenage werewolf who has spent her entire life trying to hide the fact that she is a lycanthrope. When a visiting American piques her interest, she has to choose between her family and her love for a human.

Wainwright likes Blood and Chocolate
Rupert Wainwright, who previously directed Stigmata and the television show Wolf Lake, is in discussions to sign on for the werewolf movie Blood and Chocolate. The movie is based on a book by Annette Curtis Klause and tells the story of a secret society of werewolves living in the modern world. The story centers around a female werewolf and the human she loved. The project will be handled by MGM.
