City of God gets a sequel

Director Fernando Meirelles is in the process of developing a sequel to the Oscar-nominated critical darling City of God. "City of Men" is slated to begin shooting in 2006, with Paulo Morelli, Meirelles' partner in O2 Filmes, slated to direct the gangland epic. No distributor is involved in the project at this stage.
