Harmon has Fun With Dick and Jane
Angie Harmon has joined the cast of Columbia Pictures' Fun With Dick and Jane. She will take the role of Veronica in the remake of the 1977 comedy, which stars Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni in the lead roles. The film is being directed by Dean Parisot from a screenplay by Judd Apatow and Nicolas Stoller. The original film featured George Segal and Jane Fonda in a story about an upwardly mobile young couple who find themselves looking to bank robbery to find a way out of their bankruptcy. The remake will be updated to center around a spokesperson for a large conglomerate.

Leoni having Fun With Dick and Jane
Tea Leoni is in talks to star in Columbia Pictures' Fun With Dick and Jane alongside Jim Carrey. Cameron Diaz was originally attached to star in this particular role. The Brian Grazer produced film will be directed by Dean Parisot from a screenplay by Nick Stoller and BOP fave Judd Apatow.
The film is a remake of a George Segal/Jane Fonda comedy about a couple that turns to robbery to maintain their lifestyle after they hit a bit of a bump in the road. In the remake, Carrey will portray an Enron-esque executive who suddenly finds himself an unemployed outcast.
