Piven in Two for the Money
Jeremy Piven has joined the ensemble cast of Two for the Money, which is set to begin shooting on September 8th in Vancouver. Director D.J. Caruso is helming from a screenplay by Dan Gilroy. The film stars Matthew McConaughey as a star college football player who is at the very top of his game until he blows his knee out during a game, which forces him to seek out a new profession. He gets into the sports gambling business and is recruited by one of the best sports-booking operations in the country, the leader of which is played by Al Pacino. Rene Russo plays the wife of the Pacino character, and Piven portrays the original main man whose job McConaughey takes.
