WIP is Sleepy
Warner Independent Pictures has acquired North American and U.K. rights to The Science of Sleep. The film was directed by Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) and stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The movie is a visual fantasy, and WIP paid $6 million for rights. They plan to release the film during the second half of the year.

Garcia Bernal to star in upcoming Gondry project
Gael Garcia Bernal has signed to star in the upcoming Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) film Science of Sleep. Also onboard are French actors Alain Chabat and Charlotte Gainsbourg. The movie centers around a man who learns to manipulate his own dreams. Shooting will begin in early 2005.
