New Line gets Running Scared
New Line has paid $6 million for the rights to distribute the action-drama Running Scared. Wayne Kramer (The Cooler) directs the film from his own screenplay. Paul Walker will play the low-level gangster Joey, who has one night to get his gun back after a neighbor boy steals it. His son (Cameron Bright) and wife (Vera Farmiga) assist him in the task. As the night goes on, they encounter numerous obstacles and dangerous situations.
