Writer/director Michael Clancy makes his feature film debut with this black comedy. The story is about three generations of a dysfunctional family coming together for the funeral of the family’s patriarch (Rip Torn). Of course, the family’s dirty secrets, including being a porn star and a lesbian, come out at the gathering leading to some funny scenarios. Well, maybe funny for the audience, but not the characters.

An interesting ensemble cast has been brought together for this movie. The leads of the cast are Ray Romano and Winona Ryder. Stars such as Hank Azaria, Monica Potter, and Debra Winger capably support them. The studio is getting this one out to regular theatrical release pretty quick for a limited release. The film was shot during Spring 2003 and will be out in the Fall. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
