Writer/director/executive producer Harry Shearer brings us this wacky send-up of power and class. He's brought together quite a cast for this self-financed film. Among the many notables in this movie are Michael McKean, Fred Willard, Henry Gibson, and Howard Hesseman.

This film is based on the exclusive men's retreat Bohemian Grove, where people like Richard Nixon, William F. Buckley, and Henry Kissinger have been known to let loose. In this film, a group of extremely wealthy and powerful white men come together for a week to totally lose their inhibitions. The rest of the year, they are among the most powerful and influential people in the world.

There are always protests in front of this retreat, but this year they've grown stronger. They're allowing women to visit and tour the facility, but they must leave by sunset. As if this "invasion" wasn't enough, there is a traitor among them. Their code of secrecy has been breached and it may bring down this club and its members.

This has been a pet project for Shearer. He was looking for support and creative freedom for this project. His friend John Manulis founded Visionbox Pictures and gave him the chance. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
