Are you ready for an uplifting story about a young man who fights the odds? No? How about if I tell you it's a sort of sports movie? Still no? How about if I tell you it stars High School Musical's Corbin Bleu? Hey, come back!
Bleu stars as a kid who really, really, really wants to win a spot on the Grand National motocross racing team. Needless to say, his chances probably seem slim, but somehow, some way, he'll be able to overcome all obstacles.
It will help, of course, that he has a loving family. He'll be the apple of his mother's eye, and his precocious little sister will give him sass but will really love him a lot. Maybe he'll even have a romantic love interest who will help give him the strength to prove he has the guts to keep pursuing his dream.
Sure, this all sounds pretty cliche. But Bleu does have some fans. Samuel Goldwyn is wisely looking to go the limited release route, and will likely make the bulk of their revenue once Free Style sees home release. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
