Rumor has it that this movie was going to be called Musical Chairs, on account of its ever-changing release date. Currently, it has settled on November 16th, up against the 400-lb gorilla known as Harry Potter. Ironically, this could help the movie's chances of doing well.

Do not misconstrue that last statement; the movie looks bad, even relative to its genre. The story is tired formula, the trailer is not very funny, and there is virtually no star-power to speak of. But more than any other movie out there, this movie can hold its own against young Mr. Potter. No, it won't do well, but it won't be hurt by Harry Potter, either, as this movie taps directly into the one demographic that Potter does not, and that is teens. But that really is the only positive seen at this point. The film looks like a mess, it's been moved around like it is a mess, and it'll be a surprise if it opens well. (Walid Habboub/BOP)
