Adrian Martin is a seemingly nice guy who has almost everything. He has a great job, he owns his own house, ad he has a car. The thing is, he doesn't have love. What better way to get it than to try mail order, right?

Even better, Adrian doesn't have to pay for his bride. In exchange for his agreement to become the subject in a documentary on mail order brides, the filmmaker has agreed to pay the costs of getting the impending Mrs. Martin to the states.

Lichi arrives in the states to become Adrian's wife, but all is not hunky-dory for her. She's much more like an indentured servant than a spouse. Adrian forces her to clean his toilet, make him chili, and even feed rats to his pet snake. Adrian even sets up a ruse to have Lichi get her tubes tied, which leads to the end of the documentarian's cooperation with Adrian's little plot. Naturally, it's not long before Lichi shows up at the filmmaker's door with a video showing her in an embarrassing and compromising position as Adrian's sex slave. She leaves the irredeemable Adrian for the much more likeable director, but other events are set into motion that reveal Lichi to be less-than-admirable herself. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
