Spike Lee's got a new joint, and this time, it involves lesbians.

She Hate Me will tell the story of a Wharton graduate and biotech executive named John Henry Armstrong (aka Jack). After exposing his corrupt bosses for questionable business practices, the Securities and Exchange Commission sets out to investigate their business dealings, and Jack finds himself out of a job. What's worse, because other companies in the same business view him as a whistle-blower, he's all but unemployable.

Desperate for money, Jack finds strange fortune falling in his lap when he is contacted by his former girlfriend, Fatima. A high-class businesswoman and a nouveau lesbian, she offers Jack some cold hard cash to impregnate her and her girlfriend, Alex. Easy money, right?

The answer is an emphatic yes. Not only does John "do the job" for his ex, but word about his "services" soon spread and he's in the business of making babies for $10,000 a pop. Lesbians with ticking biological clocks and maternal instincts have created such a demand for his services that he has a waiting list.

Things are complicated for our hero, though, because along with his questionable fathering business, his former employers are also attempting to implicate him for their security fraud troubles.

Like most Spike Lee projects, She Hat Me has a talented ensemble cast, including 8 Mile's Anthony Mackie in the title role, along with Ellen Barkin, Monica Bellucci, Ossie Davis, Brian Dennehy, Woody Harrelson and John Turturro. Sony's indie arm, Sony Pictures Classics, will handle distribution. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
