This being the Aughts, the "little black book" isn't actually a book anymore, it's a Palm Pilot. That's just what Stacy (Murphy) steals from her commitment-phobic boyfriend (Livingston) to track down some of his past girlfriends.

Working on a daytime talk show (whose host is played by Bates), Stacy interviews her current flame's exes (claiming it's for the show) to find out if Mr. Office Space is worth the trouble. But when she becomes good friends with one of them, high drama ensues.

While this doesn't seem like the film that will finally propel Murphy into the big time, it's definitely another step in that direction. Though the stalky premise is admittedly a bit creepy, it's not really that much worse than How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, is it? (Tim Briody/BOP)
