Writer-director Eric Schaeffer brings us this romantic comedy, but rather than rehash the same old teen-romance story, he has created this movie for the over-50 age group.

Jeffrey Tambor plays Christopher Roland, an exterminator by day, jazz pianist by night. He has never been able to stay in a long-term relationship. One night, he has a homosexual dream and wonders if he has been suppressing his sexual orientation all these many years. He decides to go to a gay bar and find out once and for all.

Oscar nominee Jill Clayburgh is divorcée Grace Minor. Struggling with empty-nest syndrome after her daughter goes to college, and not having had sex for seven years, she decides to go for a night on the town with a couple friends (Sandy Duncan and Caroline Aaron). She ends up at the same gay bar as Tambor, and the two hit it off.

This movie is a wonderful change-of-pace from the usual teen romantic comedy. The characters have open discussions about love, lust, and sexuality, which has not been seen that frequently from characters in this age group. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive for this film. Make sure to get out and see it when it comes to a theatre near you. (Marty Doskins/BOP)
