Ok, I'll admit it, when I was given the assignment to investigate and write up this movie I flipped out. "No way are they going to remake that movie! Oh, they've gone and done it now. I'm getting on my motorcycle, driving over and through things I shouldn't and giving someone a piece of my mind when I get to LA."
Thankfully, it is not a remake, although what little information there is regarding this movie right now does make it sound as though the creative forces behind this movie are Steve McQueen Fans.
Apparently, the family comedy involves a group of kids who think they're going to camp for the summer. Instead they end up in a heavily fortified, Juvenile Detention Center and are pitted against the institution's crafty warden.
I don't know if I'd be impressed or disappointed if one of the kids spent time in solitary with a baseball and a glove. (D. James Ruccio/BOP)
