Directed by Michael Apted (The World is Not Enough) and written by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Kazan (Reversal of Fortune), Enough features Jennifer Lopez as a waitress named Slim who finds her life changed when she marries Mitch, a wealthy contractor (Once and Again's Billy Campbell). She has a wonderful suburban life with a beautiful home, a loving husband, and Gracie, her sweet five-year-old daughter.

She soon discovers that her husband is not all she believes him to be as he becomes increasingly abusive and she is forced to go on the run to escape him. Mitch begins to obsessively pursue Slim, and despite her efforts to begin a new life, he finds her and threatens her again. She puts her daughter into safe-keeping and begins to toughen herself both mentally and physically when she determines there may be only one way to escape the marriage.

This title has a very similar release date to Angel Eyes, in which Lopez starred in 2001. Like that earlier film, Enough will have to rely somewhat heavily on the star power of Lopez, as her co-stars (Campbell, Juliette Lewis, Noah Wyle) are not particularly known for being marquee names. Still, the formula has worked before for films such as Double Jeopardy, so a strong marketing push may help to propel Enough to a decent opening weekend. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
