Caterina is a shy, pretty 17-year-old with an interest in art and music. Her mother, a prostitute, died when Caterina was two-years-old. Since then, she has been living in a modest apartment with her much older sister, Maria, who has followed in their mother's footsteps. Though she's become accustomed to hearing Maria's clients ring the doorbell, Caterina always turns up her music so that she doesn't have to listen to the creaking bedsprings.
Matters are more complicated than just that, though. Maria is Caterina's lover, mother, sister, and warden. Maria only allows the younger girl to leave the apartment for dance class, and always goes along with her. Caterina is just fine with the state of things until one day she falls in love with Giovanni, the caretaker of the dance school.
Naturally, Maria soon discovers the budding relationship, and invites Giovanni home to her own bed. Not to be beaten, Caterina seduces the man by dancing suggestively for him while her sister is in the very next room. The battle continues as the two continue to fight each other and turn the tables, taking ever more perverse and outrageous roads. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
