I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea.

On the Big Board
Position Staff In Brief
53/65 Kim Hollis It was surprisingly sad for a Sandler comedy. Mostly, Click had no idea what it wanted to be.
61/68 Michael Bentley An interesting idea, with some fun moments, but I couldn't get over how stupid and illogical it often was - even for a Sandler pic.
95/159 David Mumpower Adam Sandler's foray into preachiness comes at the expense of real laughs.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a universal remote that allowed a person to fast forward and rewind to different parts of life? It would be so easy to make changes that were needed, or to avoid the pitfalls and problems. Even better, what if it was possible to just change the channel altogether? You could be living in Normal, Illinois one day and find yourself in Costa Rica the next!

Such a gadget would be terrific, indeed. Or it would until the remote control started to take on a life of its own and overrule the choices you make. This premise is what drives the plot of Click, a film that is set to star Adam Sandler. It's a fun premise that should lend itself quite naturally to the comic actor's strengths. (Kim Hollis/BOP)
