The Deal is a story of a slick Wall Street trader, his naive but willing assistant, and their attempts at dealing with a series of extraordinary events. The political thriller involves a government cover-up about illegal offshore oil trading. When the key parties run afoul of the Russian mafia, all bets are off.

Christian Slater has been cast in the lead role while Hellboy's Selma Blair plays his protege. Robert Loggia, Angie Harmon, Colm Feore and John Heard have also been brought onboard. Presumably, they will all play some combination of shadowy governmental agents and/or oil tycoons, and/or Wall Street players. (David Mumpower/BOP)
