An impressive cast has been lined up to participate in writer/director David Jacobson's next project. The man responsible for the 2002 release, Dahmer, returns with another harrowing tale. The $8 million feature tells the story of a misguided young man who has somehow come to believe he is a cowboy. While muddling along in his voyage of self-discovery, the unstable man encounters a strong-willing teenager. The duo form quite the unholy alliance, thereby creating significant problems for her father and his foster mother.

The stellar cast includes BOP fave David Morse as the troubled girl's father and Ellen Burstyn as the pseudo-cowboy's foster care provider. The couple themselves are played by ever-dangerous Ed Norton and 2003 It Girl Evan Rachel Wood. Down in the Valley is particularly noteworthy in that it was a product of last year's screenwriting lab at The Sundance Institute. (David Mumpower/BOP)
